8 Maids A-Milking

To gear up for Christmas time, the designers, makers and artists, of which Wieden + Kennedy's studio comprises, decided to put our spin on the well-known Christmas song "12 Days of Christmas". Fellow studio mate, Corey Bade, and I partnered to create our version of the eighth day.

Take a look at the other studio mates' unique interpretations of  the other 11 days here. (Definitely no Scrooges at WK)

TV Land Network Package

For my first network package project, I focused on TV Land.  I think my affinity for classic shows & my old school soul really compelled me to choose a network that is essentially an ode to classic television.  But the thing that makes TV Land so unique is the fact that although these classics anchor the network’s repertoire, their program line-up features new contemporary shows that have the potential to become classics one day as well.

And so with that thought in mind, the premise on which this network package is based is the idea of TV dinners. TV dinners comprise of a combo of food and TV Land, a “staple” of most cable packages in the US, also has a unique combo of shows. So, to communicate that the network serves up an ample serving of TV shows both old and new, this idea combines the sounds of (microwave) dinner and the visuals of a TV to describe the nature of TV Land’s programming.

PKT Intern Video

In the Summer of 2014, I was lucky enough to land an internship at Publicis Kaplan Thaler,NYC. But, before I was able to walk the halls and eat the Friday donuts at PKT, I was asked (as well with all the other interns) to create a video about myself. So, I did it the best way I knew how – with my hands, some popcorn and the instrumental of one of my favorite 90s hip hop groups.

Annecy International Animated Film Festival

The aim of this project was to develop a promo concept for one of three festivals: SXSW, Lollapalooza and the Annecy International Animated Film Festival & Conference.

I hadn't heard of it at the time but I decided on the Annecy International Animated Film Festival & Conference because I wanted the challenge of conceptualizing for something I wasn't familiar with. Then, once I found out exactly what the festival was, I became even more interested at the thought of developing a promo concept for a festival devoted solely to animation.

The concept employs one of the roots of animated films – traditional cel animation. It chronicles the main character, a Monsieur Mince, who escapes his storyboard frame and makes it his mission to unite all the other frames of the storyboard so that the viewer can see what Annecy is all about.
